When we were last exploring these gorges, back in 2024, there were shades of green mixed in with the red.
The leaves on the trees seemed more green …. even the spinifex had a green hue to it.
On this trip, the landscape was mostly devoid of green.
The spinifex was yellowing, some dying off to grey.
Plants were struggling.
